Researcher Development Scheme

Scheme Summary

The Swinburne Researcher Development Scheme is an internal competitive research support scheme. Funds for the Scheme have been allocated from the Board of Research.

The objectives of the Swinburne Researcher Development Scheme are:

  • to support early career and mid career researchers showing clear evidence of high research capacity; and,
  • to fund projects or activities that will increase an applicant's chance of being included in a future ERA portfolio return.

Eligibility

Applicants may request funding for a variety of purposes including small scale research projects, specialised research-related training, or for industry, government or community collaboration. It is expected that most applications will fall within one of the University's areas of research concentration or designated area of research development.

Applications are accepted from academic staff of Swinburne University of Technology who meet the full eligibility criteria listed at item 5 of the Guidelines. Applicants are strongly advised to read the Guidelines before making a submission.
